The Sun Split in Half by Coronal Holes on June 13th and the
Cardinal Cross Appears in the Heavens In the year 2000 an Anthropologist of Mayan descent told me that it was recorded by witnesses that prior to the Great Flood or Deluge the Sun was "split in half". We know that the Sun would not really split in half so then we ask what would give it that appearance or was this simply a clue for us? I had written about the Sun Splitting in half in this article in 2007. I would have missed it but someone on Face book wrote the Sun was split in half and it caught my attention while I was paging through looking for something else. I looked and sure enough the Sun appeared cut in half by coronal holes (see below) on June 13th. Coronal holes are linked to unipolar concentrations of open magnetic field lines. The fast-moving component of the solar wind is known to travel along open magnetic field lines that pass through coronal holes. It is interesting the manner of how it came to my attention. The other odd thing is Ozzy started barking at my screen as if threatened when I brought up the full image below. Very unusual behavior he has never done something like that before. Inline Update 6-17-2010: I was speaking to a friend about this. We were talking about the Sun splitting in half. He said he had never read about it. I told him I was told by the Mayan anthropologist. So I asked does it says anything in the Sumerian texts which describe the great flood. He did not recall the Sun splitting in half but he mentioned that they said there was that appeared in the Heavens before the deluge, "Cross in the Sky" . So then then we wondered what could that be? Then it clicked. Thanks to one of you the planetary alignment thing had breezed past on the FB feed, I had not given it to much thought at the time. But then decided to research it deeper. I remembered it formed a cross. Which could fit the "cross appeared in the sky" in the Sumerian texts regarding the Great Flood. I just looked into it some more. The Cardinal Cross event (planets align to form a cross with the Sun at the intersection) which hasn't happened in for 5,000+ years ? The event is associated with 2 New Moons. The first New Moon is on June 12th, one day prior to the beginning window of the alignment on the 13th of June. June 13th is the day THE SUN WAS SPLIT IN HALF. It also corresponds with the other on the #13 related events and counts. The second New Moon is the day after the ending window of the alignment that involves a total solar eclipse in the Southern Hemisphere on the 11th of July. The New Moon is the 12th of July. At least that is what is written... what is really interesting is that the conversation seemed orchestrated by a mysterious force. No sooner then I had posted about this insight and had just posted it on Facebook, a miracle happened. An orchestrated conversation. It was bizarre. I picked up my cell phone without thinking in other words, unconsciously, it was like I didn't do it, but then thought to call a client to find out about a check. Before I could press the button it rang and it was my friend Peter that works at that client. But he was not there there I could hear back ground noise and kept saying his name. So I called him back and he answered. He had not called my number but somehow his phone had dialed my number. So we had an unexpected conversation in which I learned about the Cross appearing in the Heavens in the Sumerian text and then the connection to the Cardinal Cross clicked. I wonder if the gravity of the planets affect the sun perhaps in a subtle manner? -Richard Gerber
